DIOXIN 2019 KYOTOr

Students Session

Dear Colleague,

You are invited to submit an Abstract to the Pre- Dioxin 2019 Student Symposium, on Saturday (August 24, 2019) prior to Dioxin 2019 Symposium in Kyoto, Japan. Abstracts (for oral or poster presentation) submitted for the Student Session will be reviewed independently of the abstracts put forward to Dioxin 2019 Symposium.

The Students Session will be held at Kyoto University Clock Tower Centennial Hall. Only students may present at this gathering and one submission per registered student is permitted at this time.  The oral presentation is to be 20 minutes in length (including questions). Ideally, all submissions are to be one-page abstract or a four-pages short paper (see the guidelines established by the meeting organizers).

Awards for the best student presentation (oral or poster) will be granted to students for outstanding presentations at the Students Symposium. Your short abstract can be considered as accepted unless you receive a notice of rejection. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.

We welcome Abstracts that highlight new findings on analytical methods and techniques, human and wildlife exposure, suspected and known toxic sources, environmental fate and exposure pathways, body burdens and patterns (isomer specific), spatial and temporal trends, and health effects.

Kindly let us know in advance if you plan to submit an Abstract for consideration as an ORAL presentation.

NOTE: Participants to the Students Session must be registered for the Dioxin 2019 Symposium, and have paid applicable registration fees.

Dioxin 2019 Abstract Submission – Deadline for an abstract submission is April 26, 2019. Your abstract can be considered as accepted unless you receive a notice of rejection.

We look forward to hearing from you — and hope to see you at Dioxin 2019 in Kyoto.

Any supporting company or sponsor of the Student Session is welcome – a platform for a company displays and inserts will be available.
